Toni Morrison’s first novel ‘The Bluest Eye’ will be reimagined by adapter Lydia Diamond and director Awoye Timpo as a haunting, thrilling theatrical experience in which audience members sit in a circle to re-experience the story of 11-year-old Pecola, the young Black girl who believes that blue eyes would change her world and others’ perceptions of her.
