The D10: Ten events. Infinite challenge.

Our favorite event of the year has a new name for 2017 – The D10 – but the big idea hasn’t changed. Each summer we run, jump, throw, lift and more, all for charity. The competition is fast approaching in July. We’re excited, working hard to get ready, and raising money for Dana Farber too.

The D10 is an extremely demanding and exceptionally fun athletic competition for “executive athletes” in financial services and other fields. With speed, strength and agility events, it’s a diabolical cross between the Olympics and the NFL combine.

This will be John’s fifth year. Six for me. We train all year long for this; the diversity and difficulty of events pretty much demand it. This year we have the help of the head strength and conditioning coach for all Harvard athletes, James Frazier, every Monday and Thursday at 5:45am. We also put our efforts into fundraising for pediatric cancer. We’re proud to be on the Competitor Board for the Boston D10, helping to promote and maximize the impact of the event.

Cancer can’t compete

All money raised here stays local, benefiting Dana Farber Cancer Institute, one of the world’s leading cancer centers. 100% of proceeds go to Dana Farber!
This year the D10 makes a big move up to the MIT track, a great facility to work our way through ten athletic tests: 400M run, Football throw, Pull ups, 40 yard dash, Dips, 500M row, Vertical jump, Agility drill, Bench press, 800M run.

You want in?

Sound like your idea of a great time? You can still register as an individual or team at The D10 site.

Can we count on you?

More than $8.6 million has been raised in the D10 events to-date. We’re fired up for the biggest year yet. Your donation will help motivate us, but more importantly, promote care and cure for pediatric cancer. You can make a flat donation, or one that varies depending on how we do in our feature event.
